Ilaria Mazzocco is a Senior Research Associate at the Think Tank of the Paulson Institute, where she focuses on China’s energy and climate policy and their intersection with industrial policy. She holds a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Her dissertation focused on China’s electric vehicle promotion efforts and the role of local governments.
