Aidan Powers-Riggs is an associate fellow for China analysis at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he focuses on U.S.-China competition at the intersection of technology, industrial policy, and national security. He also serves on the executive committee of the Oxford Semiconductor Conference, a premier global event focused on sustaining allied alignment on critical technologies. His analysis has been published in Foreign Policy, Lawfare, and Rest of World, and his commentary has been featured in the Financial Times and the South China Morning Post, among other outlets. He holds an MA in Asian Studies from the Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service and has worked and studied in both China and Taiwan.
