Kristy Loke is an independent researcher focusing on Chinese AI governance and development. She was a 2023 winter fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI, an affiliate at The Future Society, and an affiliate at Concordia AI. Prior to working as a full-time researcher, Kristy worked in the corporate risk and corporate finance sector in Hong Kong, focusing on Chinese emerging tech companies. Kristy holds an MA in International and Public Affairs from Hong Kong University and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
