Toni Friedman is a second-year Master’s in International Policy student at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford, concentrating on cyber policy. At Stanford, she has focused on misinformation and the internet’s impact on democracy. During the 2020 U.S. election, she worked for the Election Integrity Project and contributed to the Healthy Elections Project. She currently works as research assistant at the Cyber Policy Center for Marietje Schaake. Prior to coming to Stanford, she lived and worked in China for three years, supporting migrant children in Shanghai and Suzhou, and majored in East Asian Languages & Civilizations at University of Chicago.
